As the tax department leader, Patricia Bell Harik works with individuals and businesses in a wide range of industries. An expert with more than 30 years of experience as a tax specialist, she provides tax planning and compliance services, transactional analysis, trust accounting and administration, estate planning, and client representation before the taxing authorities. Prior to joining Zdonek & Wolowicz (now HARIK MINASSI COALE), she served as a senior tax manager for two Westside accounting firms.
Patricia earned an undergraduate degree in Business / Economics and in French at the University of California at Santa Barbara including a year abroad in Bordeaux, France as an exchange student. In 1997, she completed her Master’s Degree in Taxation from Golden Gate University.
In the ever changing world of taxation, Patricia spends much of her time in study and research of emerging issues affecting her clients. Her participation in the South Bay Estate Planning Council also enhances her ability to serve clients with this expanding area of practice.
Community involvement is essential to Patricia. She dedicates her time as a board member of the Torrance Del Amo Rotary and as a member of the City of Rolling Hills Estates Equestrian committee. To fulfill her passion for horses, she competes in western shows and is currently a Co-President of Los Serranos Award Circuit.
More than ever, those in the accounting field need to balance work, education, family, and community involvement. She strongly believes that the firm’s clientele is best served when this philosophy is achieved.
